Dear RFCF Crew, in an effort to keep you guys moving and staying strong during this period, in addition to programming “at home” bodyweight workouts for you, we would like to offer the option of an equipment loaner program. We obviously can’t equip everybody with their own home gym, but adding even one piece of weighted equipment can add much variety. A dumbbell, kettlebell, med ball, slam ball, a bumper plate, and what I think would be the most versatile… a sand bag. All of these objects can all be used to weight squats, lunges, ground to overhead movements, etc…… and we have LOTS of this stuff. We will try to program additional workout variations in addition to our BW workouts including these objects. Anything you think you might like to use, plyo boxes, jump ropes, rings, … all can be loaned.
I’m not going to limit anyone to a specific number of items but think of what would be most useful to you so we can have enough to go around. I will be at the gym tomorrow (Friday) at 9am throughout the day for people to stop in. If you can’t make it then, let me know and I can also set aside time over the weekend for you.
If by next week there looks to be a lot still available, I will let everyone know and those who have equipment but would like more can come by again.
Park in the back and let’s use common sense distancing and spacing…. Come throughout the day, not all at the same time, there’s plenty to go around.
