Hey everybody,  I’m so excited that so many of you took us up on the equipment loaner program. We’ve loaned out tons of gear  but there is still some to choose from if you didn’t get any. The one thing I heard from many as the equipment was going out was how happy they were to have more workout options, but….  getting/staying motivated outside the class environment may be challenging. That’s why we have created the RFCF Virtual Home Workout Challenge. Here’s how it will work… Attached is a signup sheet for you to put your name on and enter. On Wednesday night, we will take all the names and randomly draw them to make teams of 2. Over the course of the challenge you and your partner will accumulate as many points as possible. Starting Monday (3/23), in addition to our at home body weight WODs, we will be programming a “weighted object” workout, workouts which can be performed with a single weighted object. This will add a lot of variety and new challenges to our workouts. Both workouts will be found on our website as well as the Zen Planner member app. Every day’s workout will also be accompanied with a coaching video to assistant you. We’ve loaned out a ton of gear for this purpose and there is still more available. Otherwise, we will also be showing how to make your own weighted object very simply out of a backpack.

Dear RFCF Crew, in an effort to keep you guys moving and staying strong during this period, in addition to programming “at home” bodyweight workouts for you, we would like to offer the option of an equipment loaner program. We obviously can’t equip everybody with their own home gym, but adding even one piece of weighted equipment can add much variety. A dumbbell, kettlebell, med ball, slam ball, a bumper plate, and what I think would be the most versatile… a sand bag. All of these objects can all be used to weight squats, lunges, ground to overhead movements, etc……  and we have LOTS of this stuff. We will try to program additional workout variations in addition to our BW workouts including these objects.
